Hannah's practice is rooted in identity and girlhood. She captures the simplicities that define girl world– the intimate moments of getting ready, of doing makeup together for hours, that seem mundane but can bond a pair of best friends for life.

Her work is inspired by monotony and yearning, innocence, obsession, and the lines between them. Based on simple and pivotal moments for women as well as connections and relationships of women to each other and themselves, she investigates and fantasizes this experience. Exploring these topics and encounters, she imagines how female relationships are created, maintained, nurtured, and destroyed.
